Oh hell... I need a full game like this. I absolute loved it.

6.9/10 - A demo that's a throwback to the PS1 era that needs to be expanded on, (30 mins), this is an interesting game with a lot of solid concepts but the game slightly feels all over the place with some of it's ideas. It has potential in every aspect whether it's the story or the gameplay. But it doesn't push any boundaries such as the original Resident evil 1/2 or the original Metal Gear Solid. It feels like a good game but is missing elements for me. Obviously the story and game is incomplete so the 2 sections in the game feel slightly jarring as they bounce from a game on a water station to a strange dream like world (but I presume these two worlds will make more sense in the full game).

The visuals and audio is great in this game as the lighting and locations are very pretty and well done. The controls are a throwback to the PS1 tank controls and there is a modern control setting which I prefer myself and although they both work great, the controls sometimes were a bit glitchy in combination with the camera which became slightly annoying against the monsters.

In relation to the monsters, I enjoyed the enemies in the game as they were a good balance of difficulty and fun, and i'm interested to see what other enemies I will see in the game. I also thought that the boss fight was a good challenge but I do wish there was more feedback when fighting the boss as I was unsure if I did damage the boss so adding a louder sound or showing a damage effect to the boss would benefit the fight.

Overall this is a good demo and it shows the potential of this game, but I'm hoping a lot of this game will be expended on as it does feel messy at times. But i'm interested to see where this whole project goes!

This is really awesome but for the love of god remove the fixed camera tank controls, the resident evil inspiration is awesome and that series is incredible but there is a reason they don't use those controls anymore and it is one of the main things that keeps the early resident evil games impossible to enjoy for most modern audiences. I still think that this is an amazing game with lots of potential but my point still stands.

Fixed camera angles and tank controls are a staple of the genre. If you don't like those things, stick to modern games.

Just started playing and this is already one of my recent favorites. The art direction, atmosphere, inventory, controls and especially cinematography are phenominal. Hopefully this is on-track to becoming a full title because what's here is frankly beautiful.

I do have some minor criticisms in that enemies will sometimes block your path completely instead of providing the classic survival horror, "inch to escape." If you decide to run away from enemies to save resources, it's no good for a hitbox to block you into a gauranteed game over, especially when you're surrounded. Your own mistakes are supposed to be what gets you.

Otherwise, the game is incredibly fun as-is and I sincerely hope a full release comes of it, as this game presents a potent mix of style and gameplay that seriously stands its ground.

Bloody Fantastic Game AND I NEED MORE, loved the ps1 style and the gameplay heavily reminded me of Resident evil 1 which I absolutely love - I made a video On the game but I think I missed a bit or 2 however I would play a full game for sure of this.

Very nice. Looking forward to moreπŸ‘

A fun game..The puzzles waas hard for me lol. So i had to looked them up. Besides for that; I liked it. Beautiful music, art style, & everything in between.

This games is charming!

Please, can someone help with an advice? Do i need to learn c++, or blueprints would be enough if I'm trying to create a survival horror game like this?

This game was great, I absolutely cannot wait to see more!

Perfection. As great as this is now, it would have been legendary if made in the the era it's styled after. Love it!

This game does a superb job emulating the style of 90's classics like Silent Hill & Resident Evil while simultaneously feeling original. From the graphics to the Voice Acting, this game feels incredibly authentic & if you had shown me this without prior knowledge then I might've been fooled into thinking this was a genuine PS1 game that I'd somehow never heard of πŸ˜…

Overall this is a fantastic demo & I sincerly urge anyone reading this to give it a go for themselves. I really hope this game gets further updates cuz I would love to see a full game based around this concept 😁

I just tried your game. I reached up to the (first? only?) boss fight. Great demo. I hope to see the full release at some point!

I would once again like to present my submission to contribute to the writing of this game in any way possible. Let me know if you are taking submissions.

I think maybe you should link a porfolio or something, that's helped me when trying to work with someone/get writing jobs.

Underrated throwback to classical survival horror games from the 90's. Really loved the aesthetics of this and I'lll be definitely waiting for more.

I like it, though I feel like I was too hard feel of the game, but I still like it
